Rift in the National Party: MP Christopher Lee leaves the Nationals

Member of Parliament, Christopher Lee let the King know that he split from the Nationals to sit as an independent delegate, The Nationals will therefore be left with three seats. This however has no impact on the National Unity government which has 13 seats and still has confidence by the King

The immediate cause for his departure is the Nationals support for the Wallenpolitiek and the fact that National leader, Bas Zwanenburg praised the Grand Unified Micronational. The biggest micronational organization where Wallenia was accepted as an observer state on May 20th,

Lee: "The Nationals used to oppose the GUM and the Wallenpolitiek. Its a disgrace that compormising with the WLP means that you have to surrender your principles, the Nationals are a lost cause. Next time we are in the Cupertino Alliance and Zwanenberg will praise it again, Just dissolve the party and join Labour straight for Muh (sic) National Unitheee"

Lee then distanced himself from the National Unity Government and searches re-election as an independent.. Tensions ran high for the elections as many National MP's and leaders declared their candidate for the Grand Governor, The party also is on a collision course with only 1-2 seats in recent polls

In a statement issued by Bas Zwanenberg ''Lee is thrown at the feet. and he dosent know about compromising,'' discussion during the debate about the Wallenpolitek. Lee had promised the Nationals that he would make a statement about the rumors that he had been struck down by the Wallenpolitiek a few weeks ago.
