What if the Election was held today

Not even a day after the infamous Sloos Amandment was adopted. Election fewer spreads in the kingdom. The Wallenian Democratic Newspaper (WDP) conducted a poll with the question. What if the election was held today who would you vote for

In 2022 Wallenian, voters will elect the new 17 member House of Delegates. This is the first time where parties are participating. From the poll results the Democrats are making a surge with 8 seats. A total gain from the offical opposition

The Democrats found it hard to maintain support in parliamentary opposition as it is hard to oppose the current Labour-NP-NW unity government. To bound forces they merged with Solidarity to form a 2 seat caucus, the exact support for Grand Governor cannot be measured since the Democrats want to hold a primary to elect their gubernatorial candidate. As the new coalition continued most of the former coalition's policies and Grand Governor Jasper Bosman ,stated that he agreed with some of Kelders's views on social liberal iideas, it became increasingly difficult for the Democrats to present the anti-establishment or alternative image to the government which had galvanized support for the party in the first place

Meanwhile in this poll the coalition parties are losing seats as especialy NP voters are upset that the NP works with the pro-Wallenepolitiek Labour However. there was much fear that the Wallenian government would be dissolved.. in responce King Joseph allowed the formation of a coalition government with the three biggest politcal parties. Who where also the remnants of the political assosiations, until the next election... Both the Christian democratic NWCD lost 1 seat and the conservative NP and the incumbent Labour Party lost 2 seats

The only political that has been stable is Bryan Kleverlaan's KIG who only fields one candidate. Combined with the low population of Strandenberg He is guranteed to return in parliament
